On the Road Together this Summer

We are about halfway through our Summer series at King's Kidz Klub and are having a great turn out, thus far! "LIFE IS A HIGHWAY" and we are all about learning the signs of the road! Soon the kids will be able to use their Bible Bucks at the Route 66 General Store for prizes and one BIG prize will be handed out, at the end of the Summer, to the boy and one to the girl who have earned the most Bible Bucks.

So far, along this highway of life we have seen the following signs: "ONE WAY" (Jesus is the ONE WAY to Heaven), "STOP" (How to STOP sin in its tracks), "YIELD" (YIELD to the Holy Spirit's guidance) and "MERGE" (We are to MERGE together in order to work as a team). Mrs. Shelly Penn is playing the part of the Traveling-DJ (Emcee) and Mrs. Tanya Mobley, the part of the Main Driver (Media Director). We have had wonderful devotionals brought to us by (our Co-Drivers): Mrs. Theresa Baker, Mrs. Shelly Penn and Mrs. Kathy Hurst... we look forward to a few 'new faces' in the driver's seat over the upcoming weeks. A few of the signs we will be learning about are: The "CONSTRUCTION ZONE" (Building up our faith), A "DETOUR" sign (Dealing with life's disappointments), OOPS, "WRONG WAY" (My way OR God's way?), "WATCH FOR CHILDREN" (How to be a Godly example) and The "DEAD END" (How to make a spiritual U-turn when we have gone astray)! Thank You to Mrs. Doris Martin, Mr. Rich Miller, Mrs. Mari Fye and Mrs. Amelia Stewart for doing a fabulous job on these most recent devotionals (Y'all made incredible Co-Drivers, too, as well as the ones we had earlier in the Summer)!!!
