A Grand Time Was Had By ALL...

Fall Fest 2008 was a smashing success! Thanks to EVERYONE involved... We had Apple Bobbing, Caramel Dipping, Fishing in the Fish Pond, Tossing of Corn Bags, Painting of the Faces and oh so much more! (Our Photographer for the evening, was quite taken with the Face Painting, huh? THANKS, Wes for helping take pix!) We had seveal in costumes... everything from a French Poodle to Belle (from Beauty & the Beast) to A Newsie to John Lennon, etc. WHAT FUN!!! We ended the night with Homemade Cookies and Hot Chocolate! We'll have another FUN Halloween Alternative NEXT year!!!

We're in the middle of a GREAT Revival this week... HAVE YOU BEEN IN ONE OF THE SERVICES, YET??? IF NOT, YOU'VE GOTTA GET HERE AND SEE WHAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING!

We'll 'BOB' for Apples and then let them harden in caramel sauce, while we 'FISH' in the Fishpond for Treats, 'TOSS' Corn Bags for Prizes, 'PAINT' our Faces, 'EAT' Homemade Cookies and 'DRINK' Hot Cocoa! There will be lots of Candy for you to take home, as well!

Here are just a FEW pix, of our wonderful 100th Celebration at Southside, of the General Church of the Nazarene! Many in the congregation and all involved in platform 'duties' wore clothing from the 1908 era... the time period in which the Church of the Nazarene began!!!

KIDS!!! Thank you to those of you who were able to join us in our 'costume' endeavor, it was a day we won't soon forget and we're excited for the next grand 100 years that lie ahead... even though we won't all be around to see them! heeheehee Have fun and we'll see YOU this week at Church!!!
